Many of the latest deflections produced by an extended foot or leg can only be observed on replay FUT 23 Coins. From some of the replays I've watched, I've noticed that these shots, especially those that are power-basedcould cause painful injuries. Deflections and 50-50s continue to be favored by the AI particularly as you get used to new body forms and what they mean when it comes to speed.
HyperMotion and realistic physics just aren't working. There's still too much sliding and non-natural movements that impede what should be realistic outcomes. Sliders such as OS' Community Sliders help to slow the game and make the game more sim, but they are only able to do the job when it comes to physics.
The majority of the brand new gameplay options in FIFA 23 all come from one thing, HyperMotion 2. HyperMotion is the foundation which the game is built upon and shouldn't be confused with the game's engine. Through the use of 11-on-11 motion-capture using Xsens suit, EA was able to capture realistic motions and integrate them into a system via Machine Learning, which is meant generate animations on the as-you-go and create "true-to-life" replicas.
