General Community / Thoughts on a white Roof?
« เมื่อ: 6/05/24, 18:14:25 »
We are renovating a ranch house in the country and I’m dreaming of a cottage look with a white roof, like this picture. Our roof has a very low 3/12 pitch and I think a lighter color will help create the illusion of height.

My only worries are, will a white roof look noticeably dirty? I was going to go with Alamo white which is more of an off white/pale gray so it wont be stark. I’ve also heard it mentioned that snow won’t melt off as easily. But honestly, we have a dark maroon metal roof on our current home and the snow doesn't melt fast either. It sits for days and then falls off in sheets.

Anyone with a white roof? Pros, cons? My next choice is gray, but I’d really love white if it’s not too high maintenance. ทางเข้าบาคาร่าufabet

I would love to hear if anyone has done something like the following. For context: our new kitchen will have a large island (11 X 4) and a very small run against a wall. We want to put the cooktop on the island, and we want to go induction. We have very low ceilings (old house) and need to settle for a downdraft venting. As many of you know, there are no induction ranges (cooktop + oven) with downdraft options on the market. Thus I am looking at an induction cooktop with pop-up downdraft behind it. The question is: where does our oven go? We cannot install a wall oven, but there is plenty of room in the island to install an under the counter single oven. So I'm thinking the oven would be next to the cooktop, below the counter. I'm used to range cooking so am not concerning with bending down to use the oven. Are there problems I am not seeing to such an apparently unusual layout (I can't seem to find any examples of something like this–only see cooktop and wall oven versions of the non-range approach). Thank you in advance for your experiences/expertise! รีวิวแทงบอลUFABET

General Community / New 36" Gas range. Took a chance and love it
« เมื่อ: 5/05/24, 00:19:23 »
I will update this later, after counters get installed. But I needed to reach out to the community and share my journey. I have bought many a range and wall oven etc for my build projects. From Thermador, Wolf, Monogram and many many more over the years. I have stood by and watched prices shoot up and quality fall down.
I studied every brand I could find that I didn't know and the ones I did know. I had not heard of Janska before(I knew their planters) but read everything I could. Their warranty is 4 years but means nothing if they don't fix anything. Few companies give more than 2 years, Janska gives 4 and see the pic of their users manual. That statement is a strong one. I bought this 36 in (wanted a 48 but the room was tight). I read everything on line and in print I could find. If all else failed, I could return the unit to HD and get refunded.
I got it yesterday and let me say...the look and feel of this unit is amazing. The grill that is included weighs 16 pounds. The grates are seriously rugged. The knobs(you get 2 colors) are not cheap ones. The highest burner is 20k. The blue color inside reminds me of you know who. The look is simple yet sophisticated (in my opinion). The finish on this baby is great. The fit and finish amaze me. I am so surprised I had to let others know. My guess is when word gets out, they won't be as inexpensive as they are now. I was all in for under 2300. The delivery does not include set up(50$) but I am ok with that. If the function is half as good it looks, it will kick the red knob and blue knob guy's butt. Lol. You can find bad reviews on every brand out there, I read reviews on units from 1600$ to 18000$. I know I will be pleased on the function and I look forward to having an issue so I can test out the Janska promise. Btw...I love the Italian burners(says made in Italy...not China). Can't wait to get this puppy installed and crank up the heat.บาคาร่าออนไลน์UFABET

General Community / Bosch dishwashers- annoying to load?
« เมื่อ: 2/05/24, 22:03:30 »
I am reading some online reviews that Bosch dishwashers clean well but are annoying/inefficient to load due to poor design of the trays. What do you think, Bosch owners? ทางเข้าบาคาร่าufabet

General Community / 2 bathroom exhaust fans vented together, mold problem
« เมื่อ: 1/05/24, 20:31:23 »
We added a bathroom next to an exitsting one and when installing the new exhaust fan, our contractor connected the ductwork (in the attic) so they come together and one tube leads outside. I'm not sure why he did this, perhaps to avoid another hole on the side of the house. Now the original bathroom has a mold problem and the new bathroom takes forever to clear up steam. We are in the process now of mold removal in the old bathroom, and I want to get a new exhaust fan with a timer or sensor (recommendations are appreciated). While doing this, should each vent have its own ductwork? I don't mind another hole in the house since it is on a side where nobody would see it. บาคาร่าออนไลน์UFABET

This is not about the current ridiculous lead times or even total lack of availability of major appliances - it’s about my frustration finding something that I’ll be happy with.

I’ve looked at the current lineup of 36” induction ranges from Wolf, Fisher & Paykel, Bertazzoni, Aga, a brand with a farmhouse look (Le something or other, wasn’t my style), Dacor. Haven’t seen a Verona yet, and some others, but here’s what I’ve found so far…

I can’t seem to find a range that will make me (yes, me… I do the cooking) happy. Either the ovens are too small or too shallow, the range operates completely via soft touch controls (not a fan of that), or widely available reports online speak of reliability or performance issues.

I’m looking for an induction range that will let me turn on and adjust the hobs if my hands are wet or dry, without guessing if I’ve touched the exact right spot on a control surface, will let me work the oven and the top without having to cycle through a single interface, will let me operate the oven itself without a needlessly complicated interface, will give me a usable oven capacity of at least 4.7 cu.ft. with the ability to go from proofing to 550 degrees, a top that will reliably let me work chocolate or butter - including the ability to lift the pan off the hob momentarily if I have to, self cleaning, dual convection, reliable control (no automated hinged panel interfaces), and ultimately - a quality unit. Cost up to the Wolf range is not an issue.

Does such a thing exist? Casino Online

General Community / Need opinion about the source of a noise from a boiler
« เมื่อ: 23/04/24, 21:24:58 »
Hi guys,

We have this noise coming from our hot water boiler in our condo, it's like a squeak that comes as first a smaller noise with a click, and then 5 minutes later a bigger squeak. Then 5 minutes later, all over again. (See attached video and photo). These noises travel along the pipe to our unit and drive us nuts in the middle of the night. The plumber oiled the water pump, but that did not help.. Any thoughts on what this might be? Any ideas would be hugely appreciated! บาคาร่าออนไลน์UFABET

SMF Coding Discussion / Repair vs. replace a refrigerator?
« เมื่อ: 22/04/24, 21:21:28 »
GE Arctica side by side

Our fridge seems to be on the fritz-first the ice/water dispenser stopped working, then it wasn't cooling properly(temps kept creeping up), then it seemed to be running OK last night, and now it seems to not be cooling at all and the temp. display aren't even on. This all began 24 hours ago. It is about 6 years old and we are debating whether it is worth having somebody come out and look at it. IS there any conventional wisdom with regard to repair vs. replace. I imagine a repair is pretty costy. But so is a new fridge! (the plus side would be getting rid of the side by side which we hate) แทงสล็อตออนไลน์บนมือถือ

I have a refrigerator door that opens fully, but when the cabinet drawer next to it is pulled out at the same time it hits it. A 90 stop would not fix the problem as it hits at about 85. Just to be clear they do not hit, and open fully, when opened one at a time. The manufacturer website shows nice kitchen pictures with the same design situation I have, but the appliance specs say that you must avoid interference of cabinet doors when opened. What’s correct? Is this a design fail that the KD should pay to fix? วิธีเล่นบาคาร่าUFABET

Hello, eveyone. Its been a while. I am considering installing an under sink tap water purification system and wonder what is loved. I have a call out to Costco for an estimate for their product, Ecowater. That option would be easy, I think. I've looked at a few online reviews and saw one called Waterdrop, iirc. Anyway looks like there are a lot of options. Our water quality for washing and showering is fine but I want to filter our tap and cooking water. We are on a municiple water system. Thanks for any input. คาสิโนออนไลน์UFABET

General Community / Freestanding Bosch vs Thermador fridge?
« เมื่อ: 11/04/24, 22:07:08 »
We need a 36" counter depth fridge without ice maker in the door. We don't have the height for a built in like subzero (nor desire to spend that much). But would like something higher end looking than Samsung or LG.

There are surprisingly few options without ice makers. Kitchenaid - but I don't like the grooved handles. That mostly leaves us with Bosch and Thermador freestanding models. Both look quite nice and meet all our needs. So it comes down to reliability issues.

Google tells me these are essentially the same fridge (same parent co) but with some minor differences in the details, and a $1500 price difference.

I read terrible things about Bosch fridges and peeling coatings. Genuine concern or overblown?

And does the Thermador have the same issue? Would it be worth $1500 for the Thermador to avoid any potential issues? ทางเข้าบาคาร่าufabet

General Community / Two dishwashers side by side - crazy or genius?
« เมื่อ: 10/04/24, 18:00:44 »
We are sold on having two dishwashers, but I REALLY love the convenience of having the trash next to the sink (ease of access, compost, etc). I don't want to give up the prime spot to the 2nd dishwasher that may get used 1x a week (if that).

Everything I have read / seen so far shows them on each side ...but then I stumbled on this photo. There is not much context to this, and minimal information.

General Community / HELP...Miele Speed Oven Worth the Money?
« เมื่อ: 8/03/24, 22:47:33 »
I have been reading so many posts about some people that love their Miele Speed Ovens and others that wish they had spent their money elsewhere. I just chose my appliances for my kitchen remodel and am very conflicted about the Miele Speed Ovens. Some rave about them while others complain about the interior being impossible to clean, having to remove the rack every time they use the mw only, Miele's TERRIBLE customer service, and even that the instruction manuals are a joke. I know tons of these are sold each year. Am I getting a good picture of what I'm buying or just a string of isolated problems? I HAVE to change my cabinet drawings THIS week if I need to move to another product. PLEASE...anyone not experiencing these complaints? Anyone recommend their speed ovens???? PLEASE RESPOND!!!! บาคาร่าออนไลน์ufabet

« เมื่อ: 6/03/24, 20:02:06 »
I have columb fridge/freezer in my kitchen. In our "secret" bar across the hall, we will have an undercounter clear ice maker and room for undercounter drawers. My dilemma is do I do 2 refrigerator drawers or one fridge drawer and one freezer drawer(we are signed up for SZ). Which combo would you do?

General Community / Cooktop Decals worn off
« เมื่อ: 2/03/24, 16:48:34 »
Hello - Opinions please. I have a Kenmore Elite (Frigidare) gas cooktop - I love it. The only thing that is a problem (a tiny one) is that the decals were almost worn off when we bought our house. I have had to replace them about 1 x per year with replacement decals bought online.

I was thinking this time to try to just make dots where the Lite, High, Med, Low are for each knob, with appliance enamel paint. I read a bit on the internet (uh oh) that you can also use nail polish? Do you think this is worth a try (and if yes, which one do you think has a better chance of lasting)?

Or once again, just do the stove decals? Its not too bad to do, but it is a bit of a hassle - they are expensive. I don't really need them as I cook a lot and I don't even look at them, but if my husband for some reason wants to use the cooktop, he definitely would need them. บาคาร่าออนไลน์ufabet

General Thai Support / Miele worldwide defect
« เมื่อ: 2/02/24, 23:35:33 »
I purchased a Miele washing machine and dryer, installed 12/20/21. On 12/27, the distributor's investigator said the WXD160 washing machine needs to be replaced because it does not dispense bleach. 4 visits from distributor, 4 from Miele, all unresolved, many, many hours calling customer service. Many calls to customer service included holding for 30-45 minutes before being disconnected before reaching a person. This does not seem to be satisfactory service for such expensive products. แทงบอลสเต็ปเว็บตรง

General Community / Zline Oven not working
« เมื่อ: 23/01/24, 23:11:22 »
I have had my Zline in use for a couple of months. When I try to preheat it, it has take up to an hour. It will never get to temp if I put it on convection. When I made cookies they were supposed to take 11 minutes and took 25. Depending on the setting, some will be burnt and some raw after the recommended cooking time. There is no even cooking on the convection setting at all. I have contacted zline several times and they eventually get back with me via email and ask me to troubleshoot it. I have and it passes those tests. I can't get a live person on the phone after numerous attempts. I really need them to send someone to come and look at it. I had it professionally installed. This over was a huge splurge for me. I absolutely LOVE to cook but now nothing I make comes out right. 😭 I can't even make a can of biscuits. I have all this money invested in a piece of art at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have watched numerous YouTube videos on how to preheat it, then change settings etc. Thank you!

General Community / Do Not Buy Whirlpool AquaLift Range
« เมื่อ: 31/10/23, 21:11:28 »
I bought a Whirlpool AquaLift Range. It was advertised as a self-cleaning oven on the Home Depot website. The cleaning feature did nothing at all except leave 1 1/2 cups water in the bottom of my oven for me to mop up. When I called Whirlpool to complain I was told this was how it worked and it was a "assisted clean technology".... meaning I have to get on my hands and knees at age 61 and scrub it out manually. Even the repair tech confirmed that the feature was not self-cleaning. Right now, neither Home Depot or Whirlpool will take responsibility for this horrible product. I am livid. Any advice on what I can do would be appreciated. I would not have bought this appliance if I had known it was not really self-cleaning... and I really feel both Home Depot and Whirlpool are thieves. บาคาร่าออนไลน์ufabet

« เมื่อ: 30/10/23, 17:55:49 »
I selected these items yesterday at Floor and Decor for my Master Bathroom remodel. Can I get some feedback on what I picked and how well you think it goes together. Also what color vanity would you suggest? The larger white tile is for the shower and the bathroom walls. The decorative mosaic is for the niche. The grayish tile is for the bathroom floor and the penny tile is for the shower floor.
