We are renovating a ranch house in the country and I’m dreaming of a cottage look with a white roof, like this picture. Our roof has a very low 3/12 pitch and I think a lighter color will help create the illusion of height.


My only worries are, will a white roof look noticeably dirty? I was going to go with Alamo white which is more of an off white/pale gray so it wont be stark. I’ve also heard it mentioned that snow won’t melt off as easily. But honestly, we have a dark maroon metal roof on our current home and the snow doesn't melt fast either. It sits for days and then falls off in sheets.


Anyone with a white roof? Pros, cons? My next choice is gray, but I’d really love white if it’s not too high maintenance. ทางเข้าบาคาร่าufabet

I will update this later, after counters get installed. But I needed to reach out to the community and share my journey. I have bought many a range and wall oven etc for my build projects. From Thermador, Wolf, Monogram and many many more over the years. I have stood by and watched prices shoot up and quality fall down.
I studied every brand I could find that I didn't know and the ones I did know. I had not heard of Janska before(I knew their planters) but read everything I could. Their warranty is 4 years but means nothing if they don't fix anything. Few companies give more than 2 years, Janska gives 4 and see the pic of their users manual. That statement is a strong one. I bought this 36 in (wanted a 48 but the room was tight). I read everything on line and in print I could find. If all else failed, I could return the unit to HD and get refunded.
I got it yesterday and let me say...the look and feel of this unit is amazing. The grill that is included weighs 16 pounds. The grates are seriously rugged. The knobs(you get 2 colors) are not cheap ones. The highest burner is 20k. The blue color inside reminds me of you know who. The look is simple yet sophisticated (in my opinion). The finish on this baby is great. The fit and finish amaze me. I am so surprised I had to let others know. My guess is when word gets out, they won't be as inexpensive as they are now. I was all in for under 2300. The delivery does not include set up(50$) but I am ok with that. If the function is half as good it looks, it will kick the red knob and blue knob guy's butt. Lol. You can find bad reviews on every brand out there, I read reviews on units from 1600$ to 18000$. I know I will be pleased on the function and I look forward to having an issue so I can test out the Janska promise. Btw...I love the Italian burners(says made in Italy...not China). We added a bathroom next to an exitsting one and when installing the new exhaust fan, our contractor connected the ductwork (in the attic) so they come together and one tube leads outside. I'm not sure why he did this, perhaps to avoid another hole on the side of the house. Now the original bathroom has a mold problem and the new bathroom takes forever to clear up steam. We are in the process now of mold removal in the old bathroom, and I want to get a new exhaust fan with a timer or sensor (recommendations are appreciated). While doing this, should each vent have its own ductwork? I don't mind another hole in the house since it is on a side where nobody would see it. บาคาร่าออนไลน์UFABET

2) redo kitchen: a) paint cabinets white color (probably chantilly lace by BM) top and bottom and add black modern clean hardware, b) remove top cabinets on right and left of sink window, c) backsplash with subway tile, d) add warm wood floating shelves - 1 to 2 on each side of window, e) farm house kitchen sink, f) add pendant light

Our fridge seems to be on the fritz-first the ice/water dispenser stopped working, then it wasn't cooling properly(temps kept creeping up), then it seemed to be running OK last night, and now it seems to not be cooling at all and the temp. display aren't even on. This all began 24 hours ago. It is about 6 years old and we are debating whether it is worth having somebody come out and look at it. IS there any conventional wisdom with regard to repair vs. replace. I imagine a repair is pretty costy. But so is a new fridge! Hello, eveyone. Its been a while. I am considering installing an under sink tap water purification system and wonder what is loved. I have a call out to Costco for an estimate for their product, Ecowater. That option would be easy, I think. I've looked at a few online reviews and saw one called Waterdrop, iirc. Anyway looks like there are a lot of options. Our water quality for washing and showering is fine but I want to filter our tap and cooking water. We are on a municiple water system. We are sold on having two dishwashers, but I REALLY love the convenience of having the trash next to the sink (ease of access, compost, etc). I don't want to give up the prime spot to the 2nd dishwasher that may get used 1x a week (if that).

I have been reading so many posts about some people that love their Miele Speed Ovens and others that wish they had spent their money elsewhere. I just chose my appliances for my kitchen remodel and am very conflicted about the Miele Speed Ovens. Some rave about them while others complain about the interior being impossible to clean, having to remove the rack every time they use the mw only, Miele's TERRIBLE customer service, and even that the instruction manuals are a joke. I know tons of these are sold each year. Am I getting a good picture of what I'm buying or just a string of isolated problems? Hello - Opinions please. I have a Kenmore Elite (Frigidare) gas cooktop - I love it. The only thing that is a problem (a tiny one) is that the decals were almost worn off when we bought our house. I have had to replace them about 1 x per year with replacement decals bought online.


I was thinking this time to try to just make dots where the Lite, High, Med, Low are for each knob, with appliance enamel paint. I read a bit on the internet (uh oh) that you can also use nail polish? Do you think this is worth a try (and if yes, which one do you think has a better chance of lasting)?


Or once again, just do the stove decals? Its not too bad to do, but it is a bit of a hassle - they are expensive. I don't really need them as I cook a lot and I don't even look at them, but if my husband for some reason wants to use the cooktop, he definitely would need them. บาคาร่าออนไลน์ufabet

I purchased a Miele washing machine and dryer, installed 12/20/21. On 12/27, the distributor's investigator said the WXD160 washing machine needs to be replaced because it does not dispense bleach. 4 visits from distributor, 4 from Miele, all unresolved, many, many hours calling customer service. Many calls to customer service included holding for 30-45 minutes before being disconnected before reaching a person. I selected these items yesterday at Floor and Decor for my Master Bathroom remodel. Can I get some feedback on what I picked and how well you think it goes together. Also what color vanity would you suggest? The larger white tile is for the shower and the bathroom walls. The decorative mosaic is for the niche. The grayish tile is for the bathroom floor and the penny tile is for the shower floor.
